See Exactly What Your AI Remembers, and Delete What It Shouldn't
Every memory your agent saved, in one list you can read, edit, delete and export. Plus a checklist for full cleanup.
What does your AI actually remember? Where is it stored? Can you delete it?
Often you cannot easily tell. Something from weeks ago resurfaces, and you have no list to check and no way to know what else is in there.
Ragionex Memory works the other way around. Every memory your agent saves is a record you can see, read, edit, delete and export. Here is how to take full control.
See everything your agent saved
Open the Memories page in your Ragionex dashboard and choose a Vault in the sidebar. Repeat for each Vault you want to review.
- Browse every saved memory, page by page, with a preview of each.
- Open any memory to read its full text.
- Check its details:
| Detail | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Created / Last edited | When it was saved and last changed |
| Version | Its version number, which goes up with every content change |
| Created by | Who first saved it: You, another account's email, or Deleted account |
Edit or delete in one click
- Wrong or outdated? Click Edit memory, fix the text, then Save. Every connected agent sees the corrected version. Writing a good correction: fix a wrong or outdated memory.
- Should not be there? Click Move to trash and confirm. It stays in Trash, restorable for 30 days, and is excluded from new searches while trashed.
Decide what your agent may do
Each API key has fixed permissions, chosen when you create it:
| Permission | Lets the agent |
|---|---|
| Read | Search, list, view and export memories |
| Create | Save new memories |
| Update | Change the text of existing memories |
| Delete | Remove memories |
Want your agent to save and recall but never delete? Leave Delete off. You can still delete anything yourself in the dashboard.
Want a read-only agent? Give it Read only.
Need to cut an agent off? Click Revoke on its key. Your memories stay; that key stops working.
Export everything
On the Settings page, click Export memories. The JSON file contains current memories, retained trash and version history from Vaults you own, grouped by Vault.
Browsing, viewing, deleting and exporting never count as requests. Even with this period's requests used up, you stay in control.
The full cleanup checklist
Moving a memory to trash keeps it restorable for 30 days. For full cleanup, also check these copies:
| Where | What to do |
|---|---|
| Your Ragionex dashboard | Move the memory to trash. For permanent removal, the Vault owner can open Trash, choose Delete permanently and confirm; this also removes its retained versions and cannot be undone. Check other memories for the same detail. |
| Saves waiting on your computer | A save made while offline waits in ~/.ragionex/pending-saves/ until it is sent. Quit your agents first, then remove the file if you do not want it sent. |
| Agent conversations | Text already shown in a chat stays in that chat's history. Clear it in the agent if needed. |
| Exports you downloaded | Delete old export files you no longer need. |
